REALLY hate how this is setup...nowhere near as easy as the 360 is

I'm using a 360 controller and headset. WHen I'm talking in the lobby, the little speaker icon next to my name lights up, but not sure if people can hear me. In game..forget it. I can hear them, they can't hear me, Oh, and the mic works fine on the 360

On the back of the manual, it says press N for voice chat. But that doesn't seem to do anything. I've held it in and tried, I've pressed and released. Nothing.

anyone have any ideas on what i might be missing?

Try pressing LB on 360 controller or D-PAD down. In team slayer you can only chat to your team, but inslayer you chat toe veryone. However in team, if you speak when near someone they can hear you

I'm working from memory here so take this with a grain of salt. Hit Home to get to your Live profile. One of the options in there is to setup your voice options. Make sure you select the microphone for recording(it may be set to line in) and then you can play with the volume so voice activation is not too sensative. You do not need to push N to talk. Be aware when you connect to a game if everyone starts to tell you to mute your mic then the sensitivity is set to high.
