Why is it that when I go to play Halo 2 PC and right when I go to download my gamertag, my game crashes and windows sends an error report? Anyone having this same problem?

Exit all unneeded processes and try again?

Ram usage should be under 30-40%
CPU usage must be under 5-10%

non-sense, you cant give out baseless percentages. CPU usage under 5-10%? My CPU is currently at ~35% usage from firefox and I would have no problem running H2V right now, heck I just got off with all this going on in the background.

Ram usage under 35-40% Do you make this stuff up? It's not the ram usage it's about how much you have. A little math tells us if you were to use %40 of 8 gigs you still have 4.8 gigs of ram unused that would be perfect for running H2V. However if you had only 1 gig you better be sure near all of it is free.

So how would we go about fixing this?

To fix it, I would verify that you have applied the Halo 2 patch and the Live patch, both of which can be manually downloaded on the Halo 2 website under the support section. If you've gotten to the point in the game where it auto-updates, please disregard.

Its been fine for me for the first few days now when it signs into live it crashes and vista sends a error report, if this is happening to everyone , MS will be swamped with reports this week perhaps that will make them patch it
