Completely agreed with you. It seems like Hired Gun wanted to make a port from Xbox to PC for Xbox gamers. Why are the menus still biased towards controllers? And why does the mouse feel like you're dragging around a 10 ton weight when you look? They made a good effort at simplifying an online FPS but the veteran PC gamers know what everything does. Is an advanced options in the video settings too much to ask for?

Exactly. Hired Gun does NOT know how a PC game works. Nor how it should be played. They should've never ported this in the first place. Let someone else do it, besides these scumbags.

Slaying noobs since 2007.

It's really interesting, why would M$ just suddenly decide to get cheap all of a sudden with a game this big, I mean it's not like they don't have enough money, or time to have it done well, is it? Is M$ planning something in this "mean time"? World domination? A Bungie plan? Hiring a terrorist team to over take Apple's HQ? Will we ever know?

Halo 2 vista sales are going suck (along with shadowrun) cause their userbase is 3% of computer users.

Time to educate people AGAIN. I could've sworn I taught all the Maw regs about this.

Hired Gun did what they were told. Bungie made the decisions. They mandated each and every feature you find on that game, like the "push x" and what not. Bungie, Bungie, Bungie. They did it for Halo 1 PC and they've done it again. The fact is is that Bungie couldn't give two s***s about this game because it really wasn't their decision. It was Microsoft's. It was going to be one of the "successful" launches of a game to utilize the "oh so wonderful Windows LIVE." What better way to capitalize on the market then to bring their smashing hit success to the PC and force everyone to have Vista and use Windows LIVE?

In the end, you won't see any change in all. Maybe with some of the online features, such as with rcon and what not, but nothing more and nothing less, ESPECIALLY when it comes to changing the game play. You'll just have to wait for a crack team of modders to fix this game.

You do know that lots of Halo 2 Vista players will use their 360 controllers?
You do know that not every PC gamer has a 360 controller?

True, although I'm sure as hell not going to use mine. I mean, Its a PC game, what reason could you possibly have for using a nubpad? The only possible reason would be auto-aim, and those are the people who get so pissed when they lose that they always have to win, no matter what.
