I've been reading all about the new upgrades for Halo 2 and came across a question about Vehicle jacking (I dont know if this was discussed earlier.)

Can the person being jacked get out of the jack? Like if somebody was jacking a warthog, could the driver put on the brakes (or can they?) and the jacker would get thrown off? Or if the jacker jacked the vehicle close to a wall, and the driver ran into the wall, would the jacker get thrown off too?

I guess the same could be said about the hi-jacker getting snipped as he is doing the take over of the vehicle...

All, cannot be answered now...

or maybe the driver can press B while being hijacked to hit the guy off. that would be pretty cool

the hijacker has to press X repeatedly and b for the one being hijacked, the one that press the button faster would take controll of the vehicle

but then the driver would have to stop driving, leaving you a sitting duck until you get back driving

Well I think it will be hard enough to jack as is but if its easy to jack you should be able to defend your self only it should take some skill and timing to do it right.

Goodness me... Guys, there is no defence against jacking in multiplayer. If the vehicle's moving slow enough you hold the X button down and it's yours.

Done.

End of Story.

In Campaign mode it's more complex.

how is v.jacking more difficult in campaign?

SB-117

in campaign once on a vehicle i think you can like pull the trigger to kill the driver or press B to boot him out.

i read something from one of the sites that had a review of halo 2 at e3, and they said that if you speed up at the right moment (after the person is already on your vehicle, but hasnt taken it yet) that you can throw them off. i dont know if its true because bungie has not commented on it
