I have an xbox 360, wireless controller and wired headset (to the controller). People seem to be able to hear me in the pre-game lobby, but I can't tell if they can hear me during game play.

Is there something on the controller I'm not pressing that I should?

Is there some display on the screen that tells me it's working?

Or should I just not care? :-)

Thanks in advance!

Ask your teammates during the game if they can hear you.

Ask your teammates during the game if they can hear you.

Yeah, that's probably your best bet.

This is a RETICULE, and that is a RETICLE. I'm using the latter to aim. And what are you using?

Yeah, that's probably your best bet.

But don't just ask "can you hear me?" Most people will ignore that because they think you're just going to yell and scream or play music. If you ask "can you hear me? I think my microphone's not working", people will respond to you ... if they can hear you. ;-)
