Anybody else agree that the LIVE online play should be like that on Xbox, with a level matchmaking system??? It makes the play much more worth it.

Stupid parents let their stupid children play games that are rated M when they should be playing Big Birds Spelling Adventures

Also the AR is actually good in CQB now and no longer a glorified baseball bat.

DISAGREE!!!

The levels on Xbox are used to match you against players of your skill level.(or cheating level for some jackasses)

They mean nothing outside of that.

The levelling system MAY have caused modders, but it still made them games more worthwhile. Think about it. People are locked into a game, losing rank if they quit - this means most likely people will finish all games before quitting on team mates. It also means a full game of people, not uneven teams. Also, the level shows your eliteness!!!!!!!!!!!

BRING MATCHMAKING AND THE LEVELLING SYSTEM TO HALO 2 VISTA.

meh

before they even think about this. They need to look into making this cross platform with the h2 xbox and 360. It's the only way i see this surviving, otherwise it's going to fall by the wayside.

I have only seen a max of 50-60 players online at once, thats sooooo crap compared to what h2 has been able to pump out. There are atleast 5000 min at a time and thats bare min!!

Cross Platform Yes.

RANKED Matchmaking, No.

Let's keep the cheating in the XBOX version, eh?

Let there be CHAOS!

There will be cheating in H2V as well, ranking/matchmaking or not.

Slaying noobs since 2007.

There has been and always will be cheating in all video games except Aqua Man.

PC Gaming doesn't work like that. PC games are constantly having people joining and quitting at once, so one guy that quits is soon to be replaced mid-game.

Visible ranks encourage cheating, just like a post counter encourages spam.

I read in PCGamer and somewhere else on the web that this was already xplatform with the 360. Is this not true? It's the only reason i bought this...to play against my friend who has halo2 on the 360. Also, isn't shadowrun supposed to be the same xplatform idea?

Halo 2 doesn't have cross-platform, but you can still send messages / see your 360 friends online. Shadowrun does have cross-platform, but you need a live gold account to play against Xbox users.
