Hi, I just had a quick question. I used to play halo 2 on xbox and as many of you know, when you headshot someone with a sniper or BR, USUALLY, the persons body will flip. When i play H2V though, all the body does is just fall back...I have rarely seen the body flip only a couple times. This might sound like a stupid question but im just looking for answer's because to me it feels much more satisfying to see them flip than to just watch them fall back. And also, does this happen to everyone or is it just me?

Here you will need this to help you get your foot out of the back of your throat, looks llike its in there pretty deep. And what is that on your face? Egg?! *hands Kim a washcloth*

Sometimes the dead spins for me.

Let there be CHAOS!

If there are more than 8 players in a server the ragdoll physics are disabled, so you'll see a normal death animation.

hahahahah this port sure is done horribly if that's true.

I don't own the game so I'm not 100% but there may be a config.ini or similar configuration file for the game. There may be a line in there pertaining to the ragdolls. But most likely no, there's probably no way to "disable the ragdoll physics from disabling"

Nope, no config.ini... no config file of any kind. There is absolutely no way of changing ANYthing in Halo 2 except in the ingame menus. Really lame.

...Unless some leet hacker finds the file that contains the settings and "decodes" it or whatever. That config file has to be somewhere.

Hello! Star Wars FTW. Also, join the MAW group. Please?

Do you have video qaulity set on low? Becuase that dumbs down the physics to worse than the xbox version, so that could be whats happening.

If more than 8 people play in the same server, ragdoll physics are disabled, and the death animations are more "scripted" (as in they all freakin' look the same). But I find it more satisfying to headshot/3sk someone in Halo1, that spinning effect. Sigh.......xD

I don't like regdoll. It looks wierd and highly irealistic. I liked Halo 1's death animations.

Everyone loved the spinning thing in halo 1, but you gotta admit, the flipping is pretty cool XD

Indeed, I found an area in the campaign on Metropolis (I think) where you are hurt by jumping down too far. When you get hurt it's probably because you found a place you can superbounce on. I remember in the xbox version if you did some superbounces wrong you would get hurt a little bit, or even die.I dunno.
