you need to update your xbox to the new one its on the disc. Then lockout should work. Make sure theres no scratches on your halo 2 disc either that might cause it.

You can download it on the menu of Halo. Just select downloads or whatever and look for the one that has lockout in its description.

Sorry, but i can't post a new topic for some reason, but i have a rare problem too ---- I think!

I just got my 2nd copy of Halo 2, the other, you don't want to know what happend. And when i try to play on live, it says "Important Message by Xbox Live" and the only 2 options are "Continue offline" or, "Go to Account Management" I go to both, and well, can't find anything.
Help me out?!\

I've been trying to fix this problem for 2 hrs practically :s

To the original poster; if you're still getting error messages, you probably need to contact XBox Support. They handle tech support issues for all XBox games.
