Is it just my console, or does HALO 2 lag in OFFLINE multiplayer? Its kinda -blam!-, since thats one of the only reasons i got an xbox360 and Halo 2.

Can you describe your problem a bit more? What do mean by lag?

Never had a problem with lag or framerate issues offline.

by OFFLINE multiplayer - do you mean "system link"?

I've had a few issues with syslink and halo2 on the 360 - it seems like it handles the netcode a little differently. I think it all got fixed though in the last updated cos we play a stack of syslink halo2 linked to the old xbox (4 on projector and 2 on TV)

I dont know what "framerate issues" are. And if it is just me, what are some things i can do to maybe fix it? I just know that with 4 people playing split screen the game lags. Its like i'm moving in slow motion....ok, not SLOW motion, but its definately slower.

Heres an example of ypur problem:

All four of you are goin hardcore in the same area, maybe a couple vehicles involved, lots of nades, plasma weapons, etc.
Basically theres so much stuff going on that your xbox can't quite keep up. Its not a technical problem and its more prone to happe/easier to notice on bigger tv's

Hmmmm, kind of. I notice it when we are all just running around. Not necessarily when there is a ton going on. I moved my 360 out into the open for ventilation and did some clean-up on my hard drive....Nothin. It sucks.

I get lag on my 360 when playing Halo 2. I think that it is 2 things (which relate): Scratch on the disc coupled with the emulator creates lag most of the time, but not all, depening on the map. I didn't have this problem with my original Xbox.
