it'd be nice to have some god mode and unlimited ammo, why aren't there any cheat codes for this game? And don't give me any crap about wanting to cheat in single player.

Bungie sees cheating of any kind as ruining all the fun - and I agree.

There is something:
1. Create a new profile at the 'Start Menu'
2. Put in "eye dee ten ten" (alphanumerically of course... meaning not spelled out like I have done, but instead, the letters and numbers portrayed) as a name
3. Beat Armory on Heroic difficulty.
4. Finally, stand up and say "I'm a real boy!" into your mic (if you don't have one... pretend).
5. This will cause (almost magically) a screen to pop up with a very, very important message on it.

Well, here... take a look.

Cheers.

Oh, and sorry... it's just my mood for today!

I just find it pretty hard to beat single player, always running out of ammo, dying every 5 minutes, heh.

Sorry but I don't feel like dying every 5 minutes against 200 enemies even though I take cover, I think shields are -blam!- weak compared to the covenant ones, their guns take out my shields in 3 hits and when I have their guns it takes 500 hits, so that's -blam!- up.

I would crack up if you die every five minutes on easy. I''ve beaten heroic without dying once. It's not that hard. And in the words of that marine who I shot in the face:
"When I shoot, I try to hit stuff!"

I have a question.

When you play, do you just stand out in the open and carefully aim your mouse at everything you see? If so, then what you need is a little more pratice. Preferablly in Multiplayer. Eventually, after dying a few thousand times, you will learn that standing still in Halo, is a No-no.

Quick Tips:
- Walk, Run, Straffe, Jump, Crouch or do anything else to keep moving.
- Always Aim for the head.
- If your shields are down, break free of combat and find cover, unless you are fighting a weak opponent that you can one-shot.
- Don't hide behind objects that are smaller than you or can be destroyed.
- When you are out of your primary weapon due to ammo or reloading, feel free to use grenades or melle, whatever is more appropriate. Then, find cover or ammo, whatever your needs are.

Are you playing on the Legendary difficulty? If so, your problem is understandable. If not, then I'm not sure what to tell you...

You made an awesome joke so, I must chuckle. Oh, and laugh hysterically if he tried it. (One can only hope.)

Cheat codes aren't always for beating levels. I love turning on devmode in HPC to mess around.

I'm sure someone will find a console command that enables something cool to happen...

ROFL at the joke, wasn't expecting that. Nice.

Back on topic: There are yet no known cheats, unless of course, you can just look at the Xbox cheats. Wait, oh, I got one. Two actually. Get a weapon, gunbut constantly and then reload constantly and you'll do a dance. (Press R,F,R,F,R,F,R,F etc.) The next one, On Oddball, Charge a plasma pistol then pick up the Oddball, then drop it, run quickly and you'll be weapon less. You probably already knew that though.

Well, I guess those were more like fun glitches. Please don't fix 'em Bungie.
