I'm very unhappy about the way Halo 2 ended. It clearly begs the question about a sequel, but no-one seems to be able to confirm this one way or the other.
All the great stuff that whetted our appetites in the New Mombassa movie was absent from the game! How can this be? I can't believe it was just a promotional level, especially as it seemed to out-blast and out-wow everything in the actual released version.
Okay, I enjoyed playing Halo 2 and still am, but when I finished the game the first time on Normal difficulty, I was left feeling empty and not a little cheated. As it stands, it's an unfinished game with an unfinished story.
Now I expect we'll be forever left wanting more, or be forced to fork out more cash for the rest of the game at some undetermined point in the future. Or, will it be issued as downloadable content that many will be unable to access?
I am sure I am not alone, so please, Bungie, please explain yourselves.
The people that buy your games and pay your wages deserve it.
