If you have an Intel GMA 950 I believe you can change the amount of RAM allocated to the integrated chipset in the BIOS. But the game still won't run that great.

I read that you have a laptop in another thread. This basically means you're screwed. Sorry :( You're going to want to have a desktop if you ever want play serious PC games. Laptops (especially ones under 1500 USD) Can't be upgraded video card wise. :(

halo came out in 2003 or 2004. Huge strides have been made since then. you can probably play most pre - far cry. But that's about it. sorry.


EDIT: just because your computer is new doesn't make it good for gaming. just so you know.

Just right click on Computer and then Properties.

This should bring up the basic information.
Somewhere near the top you should see a place where it says "Manufacturer:" and "Model:".

That information is basically all we need. It would let us be able to go to the manufacturer's website and find out your system specs for you.
