I think, for at least myself as a gamer, before I earn the right of passage to play Halo 3's Campaign, I must beat Halo 1, and Halo 2's Campaign on Legendary.
I pretty much got Legendary beaten on Halo 1 on my old-old Xbox (which was busted). But now, on my 360 I must start a new. So far, I have Level 1, 2, 4, 5, and 6 done on Legendary. Then after, I shall complete Halo 2 on Legendary. Then, and only then will I earn the right to play Halo 3 Campaign.
What do you think of this crazy idea? How far have you gotten on Legendary?
Note: For this sacred ritual, you may not do it on co-op. Because on Halo 1, you can just have a friend hide, while you go on suicide missions, and then respawn. And since that's not allowed in Halo 1, why allow it on Halo 2?
EDIT: I suppose this might belong in the Halo 3 forum, but the people over there are jerks. Plus, this is more about the ritual of completing the game on Legendary, which was spawned by the original Halo :]
