Hi Guys,
Listen to this crap!
I get home on Friday @ 4:30 pm and attempt to sign on to XBL. On my 360 it still said (connect to xbox live) I was confused……
I tried to reconnect when I received this “in accordance to XBL policy the gamertag BUNGICIDE is no longer allowed”

Pissed!

I have had BUNGICIDE since 11/9/05. You think if I could not use that GT I would have heard something before now .I love (Bungie), (Halo), (Halo2) and so far the H3B

It is on my car!
Even my arrest record as an alias!

So I go and turn my wife’s 360 and hers too has the same message. She can no longer use BUNGISGRL.

Called 18004myxbox.
2 hours on the phone and not one person could tell me why I have to change my gamertag.
They could not even provide a clue where in the XBL TOS policy my name is in violation.

I had to change my Tag =LOWMANRAIN

I asked them to just explain why I had to change my tag and they refused.
Just like when my 8 year old does not have justification for what she is doing and is hesitant to answer for her actions when questioned.

Oh by the way… After you change your tag you will see a massage from XBL that is so nondescript you’re still left confused.

Any Help?????

Thanks,
Bungicide oops! …..Lowmanrain

Microsoft is not obligated to give you a reason on why you had to change your Gamertag. Either you gained a lot of bad feedback somehow, or they really don't have a reason. Either way, there's not much you can do about it.

In my 2 hour conversation with XBL they stated that there was no reason in the system for the name change.

If you buy a service you expect the people you bought the service from to treat you with respect and honesty… don’t you?

Like buying a Car?
Paying your cell phone bill?

Think with me for a second,
If you get a phone put in your new house by lets say “Ma Bell” and you give out your new phone number to every one. You have come to count on the phone to work without fail. You start using your phone as your primary communication device.
One day out of the blue you get a call stating you must change your phone number for no reason, now before you can make any calls. You are not able inform your friends, relatives and acquaintances of you new phone number first.

That would pretty much kill anyone’s day

Oh by the way,
There is an issue with your phone, you call and they tell you that there is some connection issue somewhere they can even give you the city block that the bad connection is on.

Xbox aka Microsoft needs to be kinder to its customers.

Thanks,
BUNGICIDE….Oops! LOWMANRAIN
