Ok, I know that back in the day when Halo 2 came out that there were lots and lots of poeple who hated it. It was made more simple, everything about it was more simple. The AA and Magnetism were ridiculous. The PP was just stupid. Blah bah ect. Some people just completely hated it and have not played H2 to this day. They were the H1 For Life crowd. While H1 was much more skill based, it did not require as much teamwork.
Now we are getting in to the H3 era. I am excited to see the number of people who react the same to H3 as some did to H2. I have a distinct feeling that is going to be a completely different story. As far as I can tell the skill factor has came back a lot in H3. There is little AA, still Mag, but I hope that gets taken out. However, you can easily tell that some of the people who were "good" at H2 can't get a kill to save their lives in H3. They relied to heavily on all the assistance in H2, and now that they actually have to aim and try, they can not do it.
So here is my big question, are there going to be more H2 for life poeple than there were H1 for life people?
I personally loved H1, it was a great game. I also loved H2 though, I had to adapt a lot, but I it ended up being a great fun game. Unless you get a crappy host, then it sucks. I will also play H3, I can not wait. Once again we will all have to adapt to a new style, but for those of us that can adapt, it will provide more years of fun.
Oh, and I know my title is not that great, but for the love of pete please do not lock this because of the title, just ask me to chage it if you don't like it.
