Try reaching back behind your xbox on the left side (or on the right side if you have a 360).

Feel around until you locate the "Suck" knob.

Turn this down a little lower.

medpimp said it perfectly, i broke my knob weeks ago, damn thing was turned all the way up when i did it....-blam!-

Yes I absolutely hate that, especially in team snipers. You shoot somebody in the head , you see that yellow thing (if you know what im talking about) and they dont die then that gives away ur location and the own you, it sucks.

Why do people who have nothing to say about the subject at hand have to put their 2 cents in. Are they proving to themselves and others they are mental migets.

*cough* You misspelled midget. *cough*

Seems the mental giant hasn't figured out spell-check.
Also, was that supposed to be question? Questions have different marks at the end. Like this maybe????
Just doing my part to prove to myself and others exactly where the lack of intelligence is.

And this does relate to the post, because it proves my point; "It's not the arrow that's broken, it's that the indian can't shoot"

This is a RETICULE, and that is a RETICLE. I'm using the latter to aim. And what are you using?

I get the same problem a lot which is just another reason why I don't like SWAT magnums. Although I have to admit that if you're the host, any SWAT game (including magnums) is just awesome to play. Three shots, three dead opponents.

Anyway, the problem we're having comes down to simple distance. It simply takes your signal (meaning the information your xbox sends) longer to arrive at the host because you may be farther away than some other people. And the host processes data in the order he gets it. That's not just a problem with SWAT (although the effects are most obvious here; shot a guy in the head and he took two more steps before dropping dead) but all games. Unfortunately, there's not really anything you can do. Even a top-notch connection won't help if the host is farther away. However, such a connection might help you become host more often.
