Does anyone think that they should have an option to turn off the Auto Aim in halo 2? I think that it would be better cus then you can gain skill before getting halo 3. I think they should make an update for halo 2 that gives you this option.
If you don't think that there shouldn't be an option to turn it off please explain why.

I don't think there's a way for Bungie to implement an update that would take away Auto-aim. I could be wrong of course, but Auto-aim was built into the game.

Auto-aim? Don't you mean "auto-centering"?
Beacuse auto-aim is cheating, is modifying of a map and/or weapons, so the sniper or any other weapon shoots against the enemy without even aiming at him.

If you wanna get real technical it's not auto-centering either. It's more like "aim-assist"

O-o-o-o, THAT auto-aiming, yes... is really annoying sometimes. But rarely happens to me, but the deviation is not so much

think about it, people would keep it on so they would have an advantage over someone who turned it off duhhhh

but i wish that there was barely any auto aim like halo1, take more skill. halo2 takes barely any

With it on, you and a team mate can play holy hell with opponents. Constantly strafe back and forth near each other and their "aim assist" will continually mess up their targetting of a specific individual. Half the time, it will follow the guy that they had not been shooting before, making you both live longer, and lessening their chances of survival, since you will have been (at least I hope so) shooting back. This usually only works if the target is farther back than the person trying to screw up the aim of the shooter. Try it, it works. It happens to me all of the time. It's why I hate aim-assist. I don't want my target to be automatically switched for me.
