So I can play Halo 2 Vista with it? If there are threads on this, someone could just point me in the direction. I'm having trouble finding them if they exist.

Whoops, I forgot to say that it is wireless. I do have the Play and Charge kit though. Will that make the wireless function the same as a wired?

When I plug it in, a message box pops up and says that new hardware is detected. I click locate and install drive device software. I then get a response that says Windows couldn't find driver device software.

It gives me option one: Check for a solution

It gives me option two: Browse computer for driver software

That's why I decided to ask here, and see if anyone else has the same problem.

Slaying noobs since 2007.

The play and charge kit doesn't substitute for the actual wire allowing data to pass over between it, so get the wireless reciever for the pc.

I've had the play and charge kit for nearly a year. I was just hoping it might work. Nope.

what it does is use the voltage from the usb port to charge your battery then once its charged you can unhook and get comfortable again :)
