I'm a dude playing a dude desguised as another dude. I hate heritics, non-logical thoughts and people who are better than I am. People tell me that they like a lot of games, but I hate them all. Whenever I play a video game, I always go crawling back to Halo 3. Never go full retard!

Hello, this is your friendly neighborhood HaloKing343.

I need help with a bizzare problem. I play my copy of Halo 2 on a 360 console. Apperantly, when I play Halo 2 multiplayer on that, the Lockout map doesn't work. I click it, and then it says, "failed to load map". At first, I thought that the disk was scratched, and that it was a problem with the disk itself. Then I played that same disk into a standard X-box. The map worked. I don't know why it worked on the X-box, and it didn't work in the 360! Does anybody know how to solve this problem?

Estne volumen in toga an solum tibi libet me videre?

Nothing suits me like a suit.

Nothing is true. Everything is permitted.

I wish i could help, i have no problem playing lockout. Try wiping any dirt or dust off, and see if all the othr maps work

It's possible that it's something with your console's software. If you don't have much on your hard drive, you could wipe everything off it.

Try clearing the HD memory cache. To do this, go to the system blade on your dashboard. Select memory. Highlight your HD. Press Y.
Press X X LB RB X X. Choose yes. Make sure that you are signed into your profile and start Halo 2 back up. Download the updates and try again.

Wow thanks! That was really helpful. I am going to try that.
