I just bought the e-GeForce FX 5700LE 2546mb card installed it and when I jumped on halo its was slow laggy so a friend turned all the settings down and its was still the same way. So I tried un installing and reinstalling using the info in the Stickys and its still doing the same thing I have the most updated drivers. I thought I should try Nvidia cuz all of my other cards have been ATI and I'm starting to dis-like nvidia. Does anyone have any suggestion on what I can do?

first of all, it's not nvidia, so don't get mad at them
ATI has some serious driver issues, and 9/10 people who actualy do buy computers for gameing agree that nvidia is better.
what's your processor speed? have you played halo on this computer before, with a different card? do you have SP2? is halo compleatly updated? (current version 1.06)

No I don't have SP2 on my computer, I have a 2200 xp yeah I have played it on my PC before I got this card I had the ATI 9600 Pro but the card died on me. So now I have no idea on what I should do. Halo 2 does have version 1.06 on it.

Heyyo,

9/10? LMAO! riiight....

I had nvidia cards, sucked ass, they ripped me off 2 times. Once with the geforce4 mx440, and the FX5600. Both of those cards where ghey and not worth the price, they cranked them down to reasonable prices now, but for what I bought them for? ghey. I'm never going Nvidia, ATI's given out solid releases, Nvidia nowadays seems to differ time to time... their new cards are pretty solid, but still overpriced compared to ATI cards.... I could buy a ATI X800XT PE for $30 cheaper than the Nvidia 6800GT and the ATI card's faster in most games and benchmarks, period.

That card you have, you said LE? I think the LE series stands for Lower End, like, budget versions of the normal cards. For ATI it's called SE, for Nvidia? it differs, before it was MX, XT, and now probalby LE.... they gotta make up their minds... lol.

[EDIT]
here, go to this site, and see where their cards preformed, and if it compares to yours, just do a timedemo to find out:

Heyyo,

WAIT DUDE! check your warranty, is it still valid? if so, then -blam!- at the computer store you bought it at. The place I shopped for my vid card was 30 days store warranty, and 1 year from sapphire... so you may need to -blam!- at sapphire. ;)
