I've come up with a game you can play with a friend on AIM(or any other messenging program). Without using a lyrics sheet, try to have both of you go through an entire song. One person quotes one line, then the next person quotes the next, and so on. Here's Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven.

zaitsev9 (1:14:34 PM): There's a lady who's sure all that glitters is gold.
CookKogarashi (1:14:37 PM): And she's buying a stairway to heaven
zaitsev9 (1:15:25 PM): When she gets there she knows, if the stores are all closed.
CookKogarashi (1:15:29 PM): With a word she can get what she came for
zaitsev9 (1:15:38 PM): Ooh, ooh, and she's buying a stairway to heaven.
CookKogarashi (1:15:41 PM): There's a sign on the wall but she wants to be sure
zaitsev9 (1:15:49 PM): 'Cause you know sometimes words have two meanings.
CookKogarashi (1:15:53 PM): In a tree by the brook, there's a songbird who sings
zaitsev9 (1:15:58 PM): Sometimes all of our thoughts are misgiven.
CookKogarashi (1:16:04 PM): Ooh, it makes me wonder
zaitsev9 (1:16:09 PM): Ooh, it makes me wonder.
CookKogarashi (1:16:17 PM): There's a feeling I get when I look to the west
zaitsev9 (1:16:26 PM): And my spirit is crying for leaving.
CookKogarashi (1:16:36 PM): In my thoughts I have seen rings of smoke through the trees
zaitsev9 (1:16:41 PM): And the voices of those who stand looking.
CookKogarashi (1:16:46 PM): Ooh, it makes me wonder
zaitsev9 (1:16:50 PM): Ooh, it really makes me wonder.
CookKogarashi (1:16:56 PM): And it's whispered that soon if we all call the tune
zaitsev9 (1:17:00 PM): Then the piper will lead us to reason.
CookKogarashi (1:17:06 PM): And a new day will dawn for those who stand long
zaitsev9 (1:17:13 PM): And the forests will echo with laughter.
CookKogarashi (1:17:24 PM): If there's a bustle in your hedgerow, don't be alarmed now
zaitsev9 (1:17:27 PM): It's just a spring clean for the May queen.
CookKogarashi (1:17:36 PM): Yes, there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run
zaitsev9 (1:17:40 PM): There's still time to change the road you're on.
CookKogarashi (1:17:45 PM): And it makes me wonder
zaitsev9 (1:17:52 PM): Your head is humming and it won't go, in case you don't know,
CookKogarashi (1:17:59 PM): The piper's calling you to join him
zaitsev9 (1:18:08 PM): Dear lady, can you hear the wind blow, and did you know.
CookKogarashi (1:18:11 PM): Your stairway lies on the whispering wind

*Insert the best friggin guitar solo ever here*

zaitsev9 (1:18:18 PM): And as we wind on down the road.
CookKogarashi (1:18:20 PM): Our shadows taller than our soul
zaitsev9 (1:18:28 PM): There walks a lady we all know
CookKogarashi (1:18:36 PM): Who shines white light and wants to show
zaitsev9 (1:18:40 PM): How everything still turns to gold.
CookKogarashi (1:18:43 PM): And if you listen very hard
zaitsev9 (1:18:49 PM): The tune will come to you at last
CookKogarashi (1:18:53 PM): When all are one and one is all
zaitsev9 (1:19:00 PM): To be a rock and not to roll.
CookKogarashi (1:19:06 PM): And she's buying a stairway to heaven..

Now you try. I'm curious to see how many of you have a song you can pull this off with.

Don't call anyone a guy unless you're sure. Tanikaze strikes me as a girl. I could be wrong, though.

Don't call anyone a guy unless you're sure.

And with internet users, you can never be sure.

I agree - the slightly-more-mature-than-average attitude and the "Tani" do it for me.

Yeah, and unless I'm wrong, Tanikazi is over the age of sixteen. Am I close, Tani?

Who really cares(unless you intend to do more than talk)? By the way, that's actually pretty cool, Tanikaze.

I'm not a girl. Tanikaze is Japanese for "the wind from the mountains to the valley", and is pronounced similar to "kamikaze". Anyone else bored enough to do this?

Edit: Oh, and I'm only 14.

.... Oh. You're pretty mature, for a forumgoer. Sort of like a younger Obbiquiet when he was going through his "girl or guy?" phase.

So...

Is Obbi a guy or a girl?

I'm new here.

Now I'm curious. What ensued during this phase?
