If i try to join it say after while "Can't connect to LIVE. The logon error code is 0x8015190e"
I dunno what to do...
ps:i want try to email ms support but it want product identification number (ID). Where i can find it(i know that on box, but where)?

I am having the exact same error code now. I installed the game... install went ok. I then get in the game, i make a live account, i use my promo code, get everything setup. However in the game when I am trying to get the update I can't. For some dumb reason. So I look around the web for solutions and stumble upon a few KB's. I do everything it asks and FINALLY get the update installed manually. First I have to install the live update then I have to install the 2mb Halo Update. Once all this is said and done I then now get the exact same error you guys are. I have tried everything. I never had problems connecting to live with my XBOX. I went into the router configs and double/triple checked everything was setup right. Now I did notice one place say that LIVE used 3074 AND 80? Is that the case? I opened 3074 but cox.net blocks port 80. Surely they don't require that. Anyway, if you can get it to work let me know. Such crap that I can't even play the game I bought.

Ok so... I tried 400 different things and again couldn't figure anything out. I finally broke down and called their support. I gave the lady all my information, waited on hold 15 min for her to transfer me to 'that group' that needs to help me. She then came back on and said that there is a problem transfering me to 'that group' and that they are experiencing a large volume of calls and could i 'call back'. I yelled at her for 5 minutes then hung up. Of course they are experiencing a large volume of calls the stupid game is broke. The entire reason I bought it was for the Multiplayer.... I was skeptical because of the stupid LIVE integration and well... rightfully so. The bottom line is, I bought a product that isn't working. I have all my ducks in a row. In regards to the XBOX question. I used to have one on my network but it's been disabled for a long time (LIVE worked fine on it). I have modified all necessary port settings to point to my PC and then even let the UPNP do it's thing. Live is broke for me. Can I even return this game due to most companies policies on game returns? I got it from Best Buy.

EDIT: I was right, Best Buys return policy is exchange only on games. I would have to get approval from the store manager to return.

I have a suggestion, not sure if it will work but may as well give it a try, may work for some: For Halo 1 PC, I needed to run the game as administrator in order to get the updates. Halo 2 may be the same way. Right click on the exe (or your shortcut on the desktop), the "run as administrator." So far I have not had any problems connecting to live (expect once where it disconnected for a minute, where I think i received the exact same error code).

I'm starting to wonder if Live is having issues today.

So far:
It's locked up when I tried going to the Live Guide.
It's locked up while searching for games.
It's locked up while attempting to join a game.

Note that it signs me in ok, and I can play Campaign without a problem. But trying to do anything regarding the Live! sections of the game has caused the game to lock up multiple times. Yesterday, it ran flawlessly.

I can sign on and play just fine.

I had the same problem. Try this (No guarantees): instead of signing in with an existing account, create a new local account and sign in (this should work). You'll then have the option of joining this new tag on live, don't. Just log back out and then try to connect with an existing account again. I tried this out of sheer frustration and it worked. Go figure.

I have to do this JUST to get it to let me try to log into live. I have my local profile, then when I go to live it says that it can't find any profiles, so i have to go to the web and pretend like im creating a new one, THEN, it will let me try to login via live. It still bombs out though.

Ok so... I decided to call support again. I got ahold of someone, gave them all my information again, then they transfer me... avg wait time of 3 minutes. I sat on for 15, then it rings and I get all excited. Only for it to hang up on me. I call back, a little annoyed. The guy says that he will do a warm hand-off but says he will only wait for 2 minutes. Ironically enough thats the same time of the new hold queue. To my suprise I get someone quickly.

He has me do everything that is in the knowledge base, or confirm that I had done it. Check the network adapters if you have more than 2 and set the primary higher (only have one network card). Verify that the windows firewall has the proper exclusions. (mines turned off). Verify that the ports are in the router. I added 3074 earlier and even let it add via UPNP. No dice. He then had me try to reinstall live. I had already done this but did it again to humor them. After all of this... he got with his 'senior' technician and decided that we would need to escalate it. He took down my processor/network card/router info etc. Then said they would call me back in 32 hours.

Someone asked earlier where to get the product ID. I had some issues with this at first then felt like an idiot when I found it to be located in settings->about in side the game. I will continue to post until I get it fixed or I take it back to Best Buy and tell the manager microsoft is a *#@* and request a exception to the refund rule. I will be out of town early next week so hopefully there is a resolution before then.
