Go to bungie.net help, the groups section is still coming soon... lol. Come on webteam just copy what you had before and delete the features we used to have from it and add reveal (wow), wolla the new group section.

Considering the web team is busy working on Halo 3, they would most likely NOT like getting called 'lazy'.
Perhaps you should think your posts out before you post them.

I wouldn't call it lazy, I'd call it forgetful.

I have a rendezvous with death. At some disputed barricade.

I'm pretty sure you've never coded a website in your life...

You would take 5 hours + to EDIT the code of something as intricate as the Bungie groups web page, not to mention that all the code link and code script is redundant since when they changed the website they probably changed the coding format. I'm about 90% sure that the team working on this website is made of 100% new people so when groups comes back it will be completely different!

But lazy is a far more entertaining word. Forgetful AND too lazy to remember, perhaps?

Okay... I am just saying that they had months while the groups were down to get it sorted and these are professionals with professional software. You don't run a sight like bungie.net and have to spend hours typing out a quick tutorial summary.

I just want to remind the webteam if the did forget and have withdrawn my original title "Lazy Webteam... Bad" because I think it was a bit harsh. Just trying to help and no I haven't programmed a site as complex as bungie I have only ever worked with basic HTML.

Perhaps Achronos could smash your brain into tiny, tiny pieces with extremely technical info? Would that settle the argument?

Think of it this way: in the midst of launching a whole new site architecture, making sure it is as cross-browser compatible as one can achieve with what is available today, fixing any bugs that crop up (and they will, regardless), and working through all the data collected from the H3 Beta, I get the impression updating the help section for the groups is probably not priority number one at the moment.

Are you an expert web designer? How would you know however much work it would take to get that group section up and running? The web-team has their hands full with halo 3 matters at the moment, the groups were put up prematurely (before they were finished) because if they were put on hold until they were completely finished, they would probably be gone for a few more months. More features are on the way, so be patient.

I work here: Sound Devices, LLC. We make bad-ass field audio gear, and you think that's awesome. My messy desk (With work-related items on the computer screen).

I second your sentiment. Please kids: If you find yourself about to post something along the lines of "Whay don't they just copy & paste and get it over with?!" just save your fingers (And our time) by abstaining. Copy & Paste? Seriously? It's not that easy. Take it from someone who does have experience with ASP.NET, PHP, JavaScript, and all the other things associated with data-driven web applications.

Just admit it, Achronos: We all know that you created this site with Yahoo-Geocities-Online-Easy-Business-Starter-website-creator-t ool!
