Hello,

I'm having some weird kind of "lag" in H2V, in both SP and MP. I can't realy explain it because a screenshot doesn't show the problem. It's like...me warping every 0.3 seconds.
I'm not sure if it's my FPS because i can't check it.

My system:

1950PRO 512Mb.
X2 4600+
2Gb @ 800Mhz.
Windows Vista Ultimate.

I installed Vista 5 days ago, I scanned my PC with Windows Defender and NOD32 and I "cleaned" it with Ccleaner and disk defragmenter. All my drivers are up to date.

Any help apriciated.

If you'd like to investigate your FPS, snag yourself a copy of FRAPS. It's a small, free download and the free features will let you use the FPS overlay and FPS averages. You'd only have to buy it if you wanted to take specific screenshots and if you needed to record long, non-watermarked, video files from your games.

Most of the time it's around 60, but sometimes it drops to 40-50. (high detail, 4xaa, 2x af @ 1280x1024)
Never below 30, only when loading the game.

Do you need to know anything else?

What it is.

I have a similar problem, whereas i can change the gfx settings and res to the lowest(low, 0xAA, 800x600) and get the same frames as i do on the highest(high 2xAA, 1680x1050). The trick for me to get more frames in games, is to, at the beginning of every new map, disable AA then re-enable it. This gives me a 15-20fps boost, I personally feel it as an annoyance and i don't feel that i should need to do that every time a new map loads. I hope HG releases a patch pretty soon to fix all those minor bugs/glitches.

Oh, and btw, i have a AMD Athlon64 4000+, 2GB RAM, and a XFX Geforce 7900GT 256MB w/VIVO

Just set the settings lower, and see if it does anything. If it still lags with lower settings, I don't know what to say. It could be your game.

Even if I lower the settings I still get this choppy feeling.
