This has been happening a lot lately...

Someone will join and no one can hear them, or they can' t hear other people, etc...

We have to start a whole new party in order for everyone in the party to be able to communicate. If you're playing big team, this is super annoying. Getting all these people together to play in the first place can be a chore, then spending a couple minutes to gather the party is even more annoying.

Does Bungie know this is happening? I searched some forums and haven't seen anything. My friends and I thought it might have had something to do with connections. If not different connections, then Bungie needs to atleast address the issue.

Yes, this was happening to me too, I just unplug and plug again my headset until everybody can hear me, I just do it once.

You can try unplugging the mic and plugging it back in, that may work. Though, it may also be a network issue with your NAT, I recommend going to your dashboard and testing your connection if the NAT is open then I do not know what to tell you, if not I suggest opening all ports on your router. Hope that helped, also try google, he's a pal.
