No, warnings are for people who can't be controversial or demeaning enough to get blacklisted.
I don't know... The only time i've recieved a warning was when posting in a stupid thread, indicating that it was against the rules to feed the trolls (something actively encouraged in the past). I eventually recieved a warning, and the justification i got when i enquired about it was "we warned everyone in that thread." I've since posted in much, much stupider threads, walked much closer to the rules and been much more vocal in public, and yet, nothing. I wonder if there is a risk that warnings will just become commonplace blanket punishments when the moderators just cant be arsed to check through content of threads, or just plain can't be arsed.
