I haven't seen sprinting or leaning in any of the recent updated/videos/pictures... I do hope they haven't taken them out because they would be insanely helpful in the actual game...

Imagine this:
Your trying to outrun an enemy who has just picked up a rocket launcher. He locks onto you and let's one fly... you then start sprinting away and manage to dodge behind a rock while the missile zooms past. Then you lean out and let him have it with your zoomed in battle rifle...

Now if that doesn't sound cool... then... I don't know what to say...

Also:
1) if they added the ability to shoot frags that were laying on the floor... like if someone has just died and they had a couple frags... you could zoom in with battle/sniper rifle and shoot one to set of an explosive chain reaction...
2) if a teamate could hop onto the back of another teamates vehicle, in co-op or multiplayer, and hitch a ride somewhere. Like player 2 boarding the back of player 1's ghost and holding on while player 1 boosts away... a great way to get 2 people out of a sticky situation very quickly.
3) if they increased the accuracy of shooting... because a lot of times I would be trying to snipe from behind a rock or tree, and it would register that I was hitting the rock or tree even though my aiming reticle was on the elite/grunt/jackal.
4) if they made it to where you had to shoot the person driving the vehicle to damage them... it get's irritating when someone shoots and the hood of your warthog and YOU take the damage...

If you change your weapon style to have B for bombs and left trigger for melee... then what happens when you dual wield... will B become the secondary weapon, or will we have the option to change our settings between dual wielding and single wielding... that way we can shoot the second weapon with the left trigger.

Dodging... if your sidestepping and you hit the jump button, will there be an animation that shows you leaping sideways... rather than just jumping up and moving in the air... this would also be helpful in the formentioned demonstration with the rocket and the sprinting...

Please post replies, and if the Bungie people read it, can you please answer some of these....

True, we havent heard much abotu the sprinting or leaning abilities, btu they are still in the FAQ. I wouldn't give up hope, but don't be too dissappointed if they arent in the game.

You can do that.

I believe target tracking is only reserved for tracking vehicles. This is based on the Halo 2 E3 2004 Demonstration in which Joseph Staten inadvertantly said something to the affect that it is for only tracking vehicles. Of course, I could have been over-analyzing what he said, so don't take too much stock in what I said.
