Ok when a cutscene first starts up hit the Home key (bring up the guide) then navigate throught it ato your frends, messages, or any other place (it dosn't matter.) Do that fro 15 to 20 seconds then close the guide, and Vala you go a perfectly smooth cutscene. And it might bot work for you, but who knows, it works for me.

sounds like you need more RAM or a better procsser. go to control pannel, them system an maintenence then click on system and then View you windows based experence score thing. if anything is below 2 then that's probably the culpret.don't assume that just because you have a problem that everyone else dose. i don't get 'the laggy cutscenes' but if you're unwilling to buy an upgrade that change the detail settings on you game.

oh, and there is a difference between Lag and frame rate.

Ahem....

My Specs
* Processer: AMD 3600+ at 2.5 GHz
* RAM: 1.5 Gig
* Videocard: Nvidia GeForce 7600GT KO 256 GDDR3
* Dimond 7.1 Soundcard
* Vista Base Score: 4.2 (The Game needs a min. of 3.0)

Im not being an ass but, Don't -blam!- Assume I have An Outdated Computer

Still, he's right, upgraded parts wouldn't hurt. And 1.5 GB of RAM is essentially only 1 GB of RAM left for Halo 2 Vista while Windows Vista is being a resource hog.
