haha, I seriously love blasting the Flood. It gives me a FPS Resident Evil feel (only obviously..less suspense and more action).

MMMmmmm..... Grunt burritos.....*drool*

I actually said, "Yay, a shotty level!!!" And then I jumped for joy. Then pissed myself when I found that I couldn't get a ghost through one level because one of those horrible creatures had a rocket.

I thought, "Hey, they look cooler this time, like everything else. Wait, they keep backing up from me. -blam!-."

In H1, the flood felt more relentless. They were weaker, and came in bigger numbers, but they would rush you every time and it didn't bore me. In H2, they would kind of dance around. I lost the whole feeling of a relentless parasite that would stop at aABSOLUTELY NOTHING to kill me. In H2, they felt more like a flavorless nuisance.

That's disgusting. Anyway the flood felt creepier in this one...especially with them constantly saying "PAIN," amd then swinging boxes at you with their tentacles. NOt to mention that it was kinds creepy to see spores bring the fallen bodies back to lfe.

I think the Flood are great enemies to fight. They were more relentless in Halo CE yes, and I have played Legendary on both games so I know how they fight. I also liked the rooms with the clouds of green smoke everywhere so you couldn't see much, it definitely gave more of a creepier feel.

They mostly come out at night... mostly...

I think seigemaster is saying that his overall experience with playing the flood was boring. I don't think he is complaining about the difficulty. I felt almost all of Halo2's campaign was extremely linear, canned, and boring. HaloCE's campaign was amazing. Halo2's campaign = pig eating its own crap. I don't like endurance levels and that is what a lot of Halo2 felt like for me. The only variety in the game was being able to play as an elite But the only difference it made was me starting off with the carbine, which stunk,, and the ability to go invisible for 2 seconds. /twirls fingers in pretend excitement

The flood are considerably harder to fight and are more smarter in Halo 2, they are also more fun to fight in Halo 2. In Halo1 they just kept coming and coming and coming at you in ridiculous number which just felt stupid and repetetive. They are also generally more creepy and frightning in Halo 2 (remember that horrible scream they do before they attack at the end of Sacred Icon!).
