it seems that american gamers are at it again tryin to ruin a great game by purposely laggin games up to win games, me and my mates were looking for a team skirmish game and bungie matched us up wiv these gamers : ravenous x , xxhectickxx, x sako x, there was another gamer but didnt get his tag, anyway the game started and we couldnt move at all and they could , very quickly they had amounted 20 kills and still we couldnt move then we heard game over, what they do is press standby on their modem fer a few secs then press it again and it causes major lag for us but not for them, its sad how its always americans who are out to spoil great games, i hope someone at bungie reads this and does something about it because its ridiculous.......
Thank you for lumping an entire nationality together based on the perceived actions of a few. The funny thing is, that Americans are always told that they're the narrow-minded prejudicial bigots of the world. *sigh*
I am assuming that you have proof of "American gamers" using this technique? I would imagine that having that 3rd hand to work their broadband modem means that you likely think that they (those nasty American gamers) are 3 armed mutants as well. Or, they have psychic powers if they have their Xbox and broadband setup in separate rooms?
My experience is that the moment there is lag of nearly any sort on a H2 game; everyone is taken to a blue waiting screen until the lag is resolved. Did this not happen in your game? I've found it to be the best solution to the problem of lag. And lag definitely occurs more often for uncontrollable reasons than it does due to human malice.
I have also heard that many games played between continents suffer from inherent lag, not user created lag. As much as we would like to think that we are all one big happy global gaming community that is apparently not the case. (Obviously we are big, some of us are not that happy, and sadly a few of us are not a community)
I can think of 4 things that you could have done.
* Tried this method of cheating yourself (I am glad that you did not)
* Left the match. (it appears that you stuck it out)
* Reported this suspected abuse to XBL feedback along with any evidence that you have to support your allegations. (I have no idea if you did)
* Create an online poll that because of how the choices are phrased, requires respondents to agree that "Americans cheat".
Unfortunately, how you have voiced your opinion, your poll and your choice of wording demonstrates that you're not really asking for assistance, you are merely slandering a large group of individuals that (IMO) would have been inclined to assist you if you had stated your facts calmly and without the vitriol.
I for one am looking and willing to do anything that I can to improve the online gaming experience for all Bungie fans throughout the world. If someone or some groups are intentionally making that less possible, they should be stopped. Unfortunately, I am also an "American gamer" and since you believe that "it’s always Americans who are out to spoil great games" I couldn't possibly mean what I say.
i was gonna write something
but i don't think i can really say it any better then this man said it here
one thing i can say is yes there are always people oiut to cheat and ruin games
not just "america" they are evrywhere
