Why we must have Windows Vista for run h2?
Four very truthful words:
Because Microsoft decided to.
Really, that's all ya need to know. Microsoft decided Games for Windows - Live games were going to be Vista only, so Shadowrun and H2V are Vista only.
The Microsoft complaints department is that way ----------------->

So how is H2 on Vista? How does it compare with the Xbox version? Is there any cool new content? Halo PC had some cool new vehicles and weapons that made it a worthwhile purchase even though I played Xbox Halo to death. I've played the crap out of the Xbox version of H2, and I am wondering if it is worth getting the Vista version.
It's, essentially, the exact same game with most of the bonus maps. In fact, all of the interfaces still have the Xbox controller buttons listed as menu navigation. The biggest difference (excluding the somewhat tweaked textures, adjustable resolution differences, and Keyboard/Mouse support) is that multiplayer doesn't have ranked matchmaking, just Quickmatch, custom match search, create a match and server browser. It really is just a direct port with Games for Windows - Live put on top of it with Achievements added.
I enjoy it, but compared to the xbox version, they're practically the same minus, of course, the multiplayer "matchmaking", as mentioned above.
