Warning: George Carlin-esque rant incoming.
@n357: I know what the $ means. I grew up with Microsoft products, I was in college while they were being sued. I frequent ZDNet enough.
My point still holds. Using the $ in Microsoft's name to try to somehow "validate" a problem with the company just makes the post look moronic. You think Microsoft is the only "money grubbing" company? How come no one spells "Shell" with a $? Would only make sense, right? Who grubs more money than big oil companies? Never seen Walt Disney, Corp. spelled with a $, either.
It doesn't change the fact that if someone hates Microsoft SOOOOO much that they feel the need to constantly (I can easily overlook once or twice, but ALL the time, no) put a $ in their name, they could go buy Linux and get Cedega or buy a Mac. The "$" is pretentious bull-blam!-. Instead of doing something about their beliefs, they just -blam!- and complain about how evil Microsoft is while continuing to pick their nose and type up their documents on Microsoft Office on Microsoft Windows.
M$ fanboy, I don't hate M$ and I use M$. It's easier for people to know what you speak of. And for this Vista thread, M$ knew Vista was trash so they need to push it with something, sadly that's Halo 2. Vista was a failure, it will come to XP just wait.
