hmmm...crap update i reckon. just info on blaming water and bug fixes as well as music. BORING.
we need vehicle, enemy, and weapon updates. intersting stuff i mean cmon how hard is it to feed us some crap thats not classified? and not even a mister chief? slack effort frankie. very slack.
oh and just off topic...Resistance on ps3. i just played it over at a friends house on his new high def plasma tv and ... well to be frank it sucked. the aline/mutants looked rather humorous and not intimidating looking at all. the graphics, which were meant to be uber cool (on this over-hyped super powered console worth more than an arm, leg, other arm and other leg, plus genitals on ebay), were rather average and no where near on par with Gears Of War. and another thing: the thompson gun isnt even a thompson gun! WTF is up with that? boring pommy narator chick voice(no offense to english people) pretty boring level design, boring alien weaponry (reminds me of the repeater gun from Jedi Knight II), very lightweight ps3 control, horrible battery life, 1 metre usb controller cord to console, very stupid use of motion senitivity when grappling with aliens (stolen straight from Call of Duty 3)...good things were a jump button, smashing breakable windows animations, and driving the tank...but boring tasks whilst in the tank. oh and that scene in which the character is revealed to have a resistance to infection and the bugs start crawling in his mouth...i mean...i really didnt care for the character at all. and it wasnt because i hate playstation, but more the fact that the scene was poorly delivered with a rather stupid graphical face animation.
right o back to halo 3
loading times
i know halo 1 got flamed for it (i didnt mind though) and halo 2 was flamed for -blam- in-game rendering effects. i would suggest not to load halo 3 the same way as halo 2. get a load time before every level which fully loads everything that level needs. i dont really wanna see in-game characters being rendered before my eyes while im playing.
oh and please oh please kill off the -blaming- arbiter. switching back and forth from MC to that ugly ass alien freak really killed the motion of the game. i did not feel remotely attached to the MC as i did in halo 1. the only thing good about playing as the arbiter was that elite allies don't die as quickly and can hold bruteshots and swords, unlike crappy marines.
