Only in Halo 2, my headset sounds like very low quality. I can barely hear my teamates. They say they can hear me but everything coming through the headset is very muffled. And it is only in Halo 2, all other games on the 360 have normal voice comm sound quality coming through. Am I am missing something? Its really annoying.

It's like you have eyes, but they see something different and more incorrect than what everyone else sees.

Same here. I play halo 2 with my 360 and I really have to strain my ear to hear my team mates.

yeah! Me too I don't know what to say. I thought it was my wireless mike acting up but when I switched to a corded mike there was no diference. Except for me others can hear me just fine, but I can't either hear them or maybe just a whisper it's weird. My friend was having the same problem the other day. He could hear me but he couldn't talk, so when ever I said something to him I had to say it in a question so he could text me a yes or no answer.

That is exactly what is happening to me Curt, tried wired, wireless, different controllers, different mics, different battery packs, etc. Nothing helps. I litterally have to press the headset into my ear to even have a chance of making out what anyone is saying.

Its like the xbox emulator on the 360 is having a hard time with that sound channel and its running at a very low MHZ, slowed down even.

I just hope there is a way to fix it, because not everyone has the same problem.

it has always been like that. only on the 360 and only on halo 2. i got my 360 a year ago and it has been hard to hear ever since then. It is not the 360 headset either, my reg. xbox headset broke so i took a extra 360 head set and fixed it so it would work with a reg. xbox and it is better than any other mic i have used, even better than the old regular xbox headset. I guess it has something to do with halo 2 being for the reg. xbox and it is being played on the 360.

It is only for a 360. If you don't like it, play on an original xbox.

Man, thats rough. So everyone that says they can hear you okay is either on an xbox or is crazy? You would think the voice output channel would be easy to patch. It doesn't happen in any other orginal xbox games on the 360 correct?

it was like that for me to but i have a solution if u want to hear ur teammates... while in a game press pause, go to voice output and select speakers only...there voices will be coming out of the tv but it will be crystal clear..

Get the Turtle Beach Headset. Best investment ever.

The problem seems bad since the H3 beta. I don't remember the quality being this bad, ever, even on my 360. There were never any issues till I picked up H2 for the first time in almost a month. Maybe something was updated since that is causing this 'glitch'?
