He put plasma gernads in his armor so that saved him from the flood , and of course his wepon saved his butt too.

its been said that he has "regenerative properties" because the flood attempted to take over him, but because of radiation from the plasma grenades he used, it affected his DNA making it so the flood couldn't take over him. when it did attempt, it failed, but gave him that advantage.... i believe that was in the books, can someone check me on this?

Yes, Read first Strike. (it is very epic)
Sarge survived because he had a strange syndrome developed from extensive plasma scarring. (That's why he has a purple heart on his uniform in the beginning of Halo 2.) This messed up his nervous system to a point where the infecting flood couldn't make sense of it and take over his body. Most people die from the syndrome but Sarge is way too hardcore for that.
Spartans never die. Neither does Sarge.

I've got a fan!

That lil extra scene at the end of Halo 1 legendary was all fake, just for laughs, it wasn't how it actually (or virtually...) happened.

I think you should burn your halo disc for wanting something this skill free, host dependent, repetative, stupid, and overall bad. I hope you burn in the hottest fires of hell for presenting such a terrible idea. In conclusion, jesus died for everyone but you.

Ninja Academy

He has the storyline to protect him, lol. The plot does not tell him to die, so that is why you can never betray and kill him. The same thing goes with Half-Jaw, the "Sgt. Johnson" of the Covenant.

It wasn't, he's reffering to the plasma burns that Johnny boy has, which are so extensive that they repel flood infections. Remember in Halo 1 how the flood was really weak to plasma, there ya go.
