Which was interesting seeing as A.) I had a point and B.) I wasn't the one calling others a "pedo"

I wonder if Bungie and it's mods can't take criticism and if that is the case, I really am curious why? I mean, as a consumer and an American I have a right, not the privilege to state my opinion to them.

In as far as my conduct regarding other posters; I would like to point out that the tone of my posts only paralleled the level of immaturity and stupidity of the people advocating quitting.

In closure, I do want to point out that the quitting is worse than ever. In the past week about 8 out of 10 games have been ruined by quitters on both teams.

This is inexcusable and the fact that Bungie doesn't even acknowledge; let alone fix this problem really is a big disappointment.

Thanks for the fun game Bungie, but no thanks for not keeping it fun after your wallets got fattened up.

That's all I really have to say on the matter.

Unfortunately, for Halo 2, there really isn't much people can do against quitters. The system was not made for it. As we witnessed in Halo 3, it takes full advantage of the Rep System (which you can choose to not have someone be partied up with you due to quitting, as well as a plethora of other options), as well as the players themselves lose RP (I believe it was RP...) for quitting early.

Point being, quitting was something that was not foreseen as being a huge issue. Unfortunately, to write a patch of code to completely change the ranking system this late in the game is by far a ridiculous waste of time. It is something we'll have to deal with until the new ranking/rep system comes with Halo 3.

What is it they say about arguing with idiots?

Speaking of genius, why you seem to think that someone should be punished when you made the choice to party with them at random without knowing who they are or if they'll stick around, or be jerks, is beyond me.

You're right, the situation hasn't changed. People still quit. And people like you still cry about it as they continually subject themselves to it. If you don't want to put up with the risks inherent of partying with strangers, don't party with strangers, genius.

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

Please read the CoC. In there, you will find the terms you agreed to when you signed up here. It clearly states; "You have no rights. Play nice."

Being that you violated the "play nice" rule, why would you not be punished for it? Its not about being unable to take criticism. The mods are not even Bungie Employees. We have no say in what goes on at the Studio, so we couldn't be angry because you're angry at Bungie. We're simply community members like you.

Bungie themselves has thick skin. They are used to getting a lot of complaints. Its about being civil and simply following the rules. If you can't do that, then you will be called on it.

This thread is all over the place. Its both off topic here, and its a repeat topic all at the same time.

Locked.
