Clans and how they will work.
Clans will not be ran by people who have no clue as to what they should do. Leaders will be picked, after the main leader starts the clan and people join, by people who run the game, to determine who the most sutable co-leaders of the clan will be. Clans will have a base on their home-planet that they were assigned when their clan was established. The home planets can't be taken over, as other clans will be stationed on the same planet. the sub-wars within the clans will be fought regularly. Don't assume that Humans are the only ones in this mmorpfpsg(Massively Multi Player Online Role Playing First Person Shooter Game), the Covenant and Flood, and other Species will be elegible to pick when creating a character. After picking your character, you will spawn in a hospital space station, styled to the race you pick, to choose what clan you would like to join. You will be able to come to this station at any time to change clans, or create clans. When you switch, you won't transfer at the level you are at, your rank will be divided by how many people in that clan have the same rank as you, or if there is a large amount of them, the leader will decide what level you are when you join. If you would like to join, you go to the room that has a desk where you set everything up to join a clan. The desk helps you figure out what clan you can join. You will be able to pick from lvl. 1 clans to lvl. 100 clans. It won't be easy to work your way into high level clans unless you know somebody or the leader is feeling generous. Once you pick what level clan you want, you pick which one sounds suitable for you, after that, you see if the clan will accept you as a new member. If they accept, you will be able to walk through the teleporter to the station on the home planet to pick up your armour, weapons, and your clothing. After establishing all of basic needs, you can take a nereby docked pelican to take you to your clans ship. After arriving at your ship, you establish your room, some friends, mabye a sub-squad for when you go down to the planet, and wait for a battle to start.

BATTLES AND HOW THE LOADING WILL WORK.
First off, how will a massive game, with the best graphics ever, load so easily?
As soon as you put the game in, it will start loading everything in the game. when you click "sign in" on the main menu, it is still loading, as you are in the ship, walking around, the game is still loading, while you are flying down to the planet to take it over, it is still loading.

Now we come to battles. How will I know wether or not there is a battle that will be underway?
When the battle begins, sirens will go off all over the ship, you will then get a message that tells you to go equip your armour, if not already equipped, and be to your assigned pelican before time expires. If you aren't to the pelican, you will get a strike to your rank lowering and you will have to take an ejection pod from your room, to the battle. You get to the pelican before time is up, what happens then? You sit and wait until the time limit is up. When the time limit is up, the pelican will leave for the battle. Imagine, flying through space in the back of a pelican, then you look around and see the other people applying face pant camo for a little "ass-kicking style". Then you look out the back, and you see the sky turn blue, then you desend into the clouds, and you then hear the pilot announce, "The LZ's too hot, grapple in 5-4-3-2-1." You then move your man to grapple off the pelican, to become underfire by enemy troops. You quickly take cover to see your leader calling you over. The squad you set down with is given order by the leader. All of you begin to carry the orders out. You move up to a wing of a pelican shot down many battles before, you take cover behind it, you then get against it like in Rainbow 6 Vegas, you push up on the thumb stick and start pulling the trigger at what looks like 50 people that want to wipe out your entire clan. You start to try to destract some more, you suddenly see hundreds of sniper rounds start hitting all of the troops. You then look and see one of your guys laying on the ground, still alive, you pull him behind your wing, call a medic over on your cross com display, the medic then heals him you keep your eye on him though.

As you approach the bunker to try and finish off the other 500 soldiers, you here something on your open link mic, sounds like, "Mortor...fire...5...2......" You look over the wing to see a massive cloud of dust fly into the air. You then see three more plasma rounds from the battleship above strike the bunker. You then here on your spy link, "...305 troops killed, 25 wounded." You then see the leader come out and surrender, your squad leader says that you need to report back to the pelican, and that there is nothing else that you can do there. Your squad then loads up the pelican, you ascend into the atmosphere, you see space once again, you pull into the ship dock, and you realize, you just conquered your clan's biggest rival. You walk off the pelican to see a party about. You go to see what the rukus is, you here your name called, you have been awarded medals, and a rank up.

That is just a brief description of what most everyfight would be like.

Now who said that humans wouldn't work together? If there is a Halo that is in danger of being taken over by the Covenant, the UNSC leader sends a message to specific clans. (The UNSC leader would be somebody that runs the game at Bungie.) Those clans are to report to the Halo by a certain day and time. These are the big fights, these are the fights with at least 50,000 people on each side fighting for control of the entire ring. The flood are also there. Whatch out for the people playing them, they will be desprate to find a pelican flyer to get their species out and to a nearby ship to take over.

You then have space battles. Those are exciting. Those determine weather or not a clan can stay in existance. If one clan comes across another, they can initiate a space battle. The whole goal will to be to take over the other ship by killing the clan leader, or by b lowing the ship up with a bomb that a technician on your ship has made.

That is it, soon I will have a post up with details on how the Species will work.

REMEMBER, THIS IS NOT A REAL GAME, BUT AN ATTEMPT TO GET BUNGIE'S ATTENTION AND MAKE SOMETHING LIKE THIS.

I have an idea for an "mmo",

To be honest, and I hate to say it. I stopped reading right here. Once I seen that I literally did say, 'Oh hell no.' And to be honest, I am sticking to it. I have, and always will be against any type of MMO.

i only really disagree with b&c cause bungie could look at this and say not a bad idea. and for c i don't know how you could say it would cost to much because if you think about bungie is got a lot of money. from all the halo games.

I have an idea for a game that bungie should think about making, that has been bothering me for the last couple of months.
What if bungie took Halo and applied it to a more, broad perspective. such as Phantasy Star, or WoW. Why not make a type of game that would consist of elements from a first-person shooter and a massively-multplayer oline game. You could start as whatever you wanted, ex. Flood, Human, Covenant, and progress your way though a world that was unique. Say, for example, you wanted to be a human. First, you would read about the clans that were available to join in which you then could biuld your character. Say, for example, there wasn't a clan you wanted to join, you would be able to create your own clan. When you make your own clan, a planet somewhere in the galaxy that would be assigned to your I.P. Say you join a clan, you would be able to join i their current conquest to take over planets for territory or money. (That will be included later in the post.) So say you make your own clan, you costomize it however yo want, you name it, color it (pick clan colors), your pick standard issue weapons(ones that ould be locked to only standard issue, so that ay a private isn't assigned a rocket and sniper), symbol, etc... When you join, you will be assigned the weapons, the colors, and the deafult standard issue armour. You could then customize your casual clothing for when you are on the ship your clan owns. After customizing your clothing, you would be able to customize your own personal symbol along with the clan color layout, so that way you still had some personal customization for whatever you're wearing. After doing all the preperation work, you startto cruise the ship and make friends in sub-squads on the ship, but say, while in the process of doing all this, the battlesirens go off, you are sent a message that everone recieves that tells you how much time you have to get back to your room to prepare for battle. After equiping your armour, you manuever your way down to your assigned pelican, to transport you to the battle. When you get to the pelican, you wait for the time limit to expire. When it does, you're off to fight. You look out the back to see the emptiness of space amongst you, you then here the pilot, which is also a real player, announce that you will be grappling down, as the attle zone is already too hot to tochdown. As you grapple down, you see your teammates grapple as well, and the leader motions for everyone to com to his position to annouce what everyone's assignment for the battle will be. So you fight the battle and finish, as you fly back on your pelican, you start to wonder how experience points are established. You would earn experience based on how many kills you get, how many deaths you have, how many medals you earn, assists, etc... You would also earn money that would enable you to purchase different weapons for combat, instead of having to find everything on the field, you could leave with it, alrady equipped. The experince would be use to advance in rank. The higher in rank you get, the more owerful theweapons you can buy, the more protective armour you can buy, and the more you can do on the battlefield. All the environments would be destructable. If you shoot a cliff with a high-explosive mortor round from your battleship floating above the planet, you see some destruction happen to that cliff.

This has been posted by KANKELS, that is my gamertag too, my email is 92matt@gmail.com. Please post comment or whatever else to show approval. My goal is to get BUNGIE to look at this, and realize that this would be the coolest game ever. If you look at this, try to get bungie to look at this, spam them with emails, more threads that lead to this one, etc... there will be more posts in this thread about this game. I will be giving most of the gameplay stuff. Show your support please.

Ditto. I'm biased, because I am very much not a fan of MMO type games. But even if Bungie did something like this, I think it would be best to use a different world/story altogether. Halo is best as a shooter, in my opinion.

You guys need to actually read this stuff, don't just judge it freely without reading the whole thing.

Sounds cool, but then again a lot of things on paper sound cool but end up not. If the game would work as how u say it would it would be good, but people probably wont cooperate in the way u say they will. I just think fps games arent meant to be mmo's. A more likely game would just be one on maybe a larger scale, not necessarily a mmo.

"That's about all that can be said for plots, which anyway are just one thing after another, a what and a what and a what.

Now try how and why."

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I swore that if I even though about another one of these threads I might have to kill someone and start using the caps lock key and poor sentance structure because these threads are pissing me off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Think about it: you speak as though one morning at bungie they are going think to say "OH No!! We are out of ideas! Wait, theres hope because a random person posted an idea on a forum! YAY! We couldn't have ever though of this stuff."

This has inspired me to write a rant.
