Considering I have two Halo 2 - series 3 Blue Spartans, one Halo 2 - limited edition Blue Spartan fighting two Halo 2 series 4 Red Spartans and one Halo 2 - series 9 Red Spartan; all three different grunts, and one Halo 1 - series 1 Green Master Chief on my work desk alone, I will be preordering the entire set when available.

I'm with the guys that say the scale is going to be off. I don't play with the toys really but I like to set them
up in such a way that they look cool on my bookcase. Putting them in action poses, whatever. With the introduction
of this new scale from McFarlane they'll look really out of place when compared to the older figure I've got.

Oh well, I maintain that they look really nice. I've just got so many Joyride figures (about 30) that I don't know where
I'm going to put these. I can only "Halo" so much of my home.... haha!

TO THE NEIGHBOR'S!!!

This will make for some very interesting Robot Chicken episodes! If you listen very carefully, you can actually hear Seth Green's maniacal laughter.

lmfao that would be a great spoof video <_< >_>

  • 06.19.2007 10:39 AM PDT

I think it's cool. I'd like to see them design original characters and vehicles that have not made an appearance in the franchise, until now........

Theres a fine line between not listening and not caring.

I'm sooo going to hook with this line of figures. These are a bit more in line with my taste as opposed to the Kotobukiya line:
http://www.statueforum.com/showthread.php?t=50508

I must admit though, I am weak when it comes to my toy obsession. I will likely hook with entirely too many figures and get shot in the face by my wife :)

Why doesn't anyone make vehicles that actually FIT the figures inside them anymore??? If you're going to make a vehicle, make it scaled appropriately to the size of your figure so the figures can be seated inside the vehicles...

WHATS WRONG WITH TOY DESIGNERS NOW A DAYS??? I love McFarlane but this is disappointing.

Any one notice the Cool info on the gravity hammer?

"Belonging to the Covenant, the Brute Chieftain carries the gravity hammer, a close-range weapon with the ability to alter gravity at a local level and crush his enemies and surroundings."

"What is life without freedom?"

Rizon's File Share

All i have to say is, "its about time."

How long have we wanted this? I couldn't stand when they didn't go with Mcfarlane in the first place.

  • 06.19.2007 3:56 PM PDT

yay! brute chopper!!!

Whats a brute chopper.

we need more info on it bungie

  • 06.19.2007 4:25 PM PDT

"The enemy is almost upon us...
...yet a Journey must commence."

brute = badass gorilla thing

chopper = badass cycle thing

brute chopper = 2x badass cycle for a gorilla

lets hope that putting these two things together is like peanut butter and jelly and not like pizza and ice cream.

New Marathon? Thanks Bungie!

If this a hint at a new weapon, the idea of a "Gravity Hammer" as a new weapon in Halo 3 sounds like a stupid idea to me. I mean come on Bungie don't you think that you've added enough new weapons/vehicles to the Halo arsenal already after the missile pod, spartan laser, brute spikers, equipment, atv, and brute chopper? Seriously, who wants another cheap sword-like weapon? Also, where are the elite action figures? I hope elites are still in Halo 3.

Keep in mind everybody that the picture of Master Chief is a prototype and will look even better in 2008.

Also, if you go make a petition thread over at the Spawn Board to up the scale, Todd MIGHT just do it by popular domand. Todd and his staff are close with the Spawn community just like Bungie is with the Halo community and will actualy talk to the board members. They talk to you in a lot on updates, especially on fridays during the TOODCAST

TMP and Joyride are two different companies. Joyride is not even considered competition to TMP.

"Our Arrows will Blot out the sun." "Then we will fight in the shade"
This is my favorite line from 300 THAT MOVIE RULEZ ALL

These figues are going to be a great addition to my collection i do agree with the scale thing though it would be great to be able to fit the master chief in the warthog andpose the brute figure like its boarding him or something lol anyways they look great also all of the people saying whats the brute chopper or i want more info on the brute chopper all you have to do is look at the Game Pro pictures it shows a detailed picture of the chopper and even gives a little information and im glad its only a little i dont wanna know everything

I think these toys are going to be GREAT! However, why so small? A 7 to 8 inch scale would be ideal and more on platform with modern day action figures. This isn't the 70's Star Wars action figure sizes any more. I think our generation has moved on to BIGGER and better things! Thus, BIGGER applies to these new Halo 3 toys! I love the Master Chief proto.... But a request to Todd and his crew, PLEASE MAKE THEM A LITTLE BIGGER! Otherwise, you have perfection in the making!

PS: An Elite toy is also needed! Perhaps in series 2???

There are gonna be Elites.

Bungie probably doesn't want to spoile anything in Halo 3 so they decided not to have the Elites mentioned. Notice how we barely have any info on them anyway.

Don't feed the monkey!!!!

First the beta and now this. It seems like Bungie woke up about the quality of the franchise . After reading and seeing the prototype, I'm convinced Bungie is making all the right choices. This is a true match of top talent.

i know this is completely unrealistic but id like to see a line of figures that encompass every single prominent figure from the halo series made as action figures. This set would include all vehicles and maybe even a few different weapons for the figures. id also like to see the cheif at least be able to "drive" the vehicles. I dont even know why i made this post, becuas if i even considered buying any of these toys my friends would slap me :(

I hate to break it to you but if you are old enough to work and have every halo action figure known to man then your kind of a nerd.

That would be awsome if the halo action figures were in the Robot Chicken episodes. Good idea!!!!
