Well I'll tell you some things about the map editor, you can't add any models besides the levels bsp. You can't modify physics, or create physics for other objects. People were planning on Making Halo 3 for H2V but we can't because we got a "Map Editor" that can only make freaking maps. We also have no rcon so dedicated servers are screwed. Also don't compare CS: S to H2V, CS: S is way better. It is a decent port but vista makes it a crappy one, you need at least 2 GB of RAM or it just will eat your computer alive. Because of how limited the H2V editing kit is, CMT and Evolution aren't going to use it. Evolution is moving to the source engine. CMT can't do -blam!- in it because they need their weapons for their maps to play right. H2V is just not as good as it should be, they could just get rid of achievements on custom maps then we could have all our old features back.
Xfire >>>> WIndows Live
Screw achivement points, I want to play custom maps with friends with custom scripts and actually be able to make different -blam!- gravity lifts, or at least a freaking working gravity lift tag. High Ground with out the Spartan Laser, equipment, mongoose, and a good shotgun is not High Ground. It messes up all the gameplay, heck H2V won't even let you use the .ass plugin in 3ds Max 9. We can't add in freaking gates either. So you keep playing H2V I'll keep playing Halo: CE.
P.S.
Halo 3 > Halo 1 and Halo 2
P.S.S.
Tremulous(a free, standalone game based on the Doom 3 engine) is way better then Halo 2 in the need of team work. Think of it as CS: S with out defusable bombs and terroist are aliens from space..... actually scratch that, its nothing like CS: S.
