Does feedback really do anything at all. Just not more than a few minutes ago I get booted from a party. So I quickly rejoin and ask him why he booted me and he just kept doing it. So when I guess he finally got tired of it he said he booted me because he thinks I'm -blam!-. I'm not.....like that not to be discriminating. I think he just meant he didn't like me but why I didn't do anything to piss him or anyone off. So how can leaving feedback do anything? I feel it does absolutely nothing.Usually if you see the sign of a person that keeps booting you from their party and then calls you an inappropriate name, you should probably avoid them or disable their voice settings by using the "Mute" feature. As noted game experience does change online because everyone acts differently and there is no possible way to control that.
By sending them feedback, you are telling Bungie and/or Microsoft what that person is doing and at what extent. If that user receives feedback from multiple persons he has a risk or chance of receiving a temporary suspension. If you have a Xbox 360 console, you may "Avoid Player" to prevent any future possibilities of being matched up together while playing Xbox 360 games.
The reason that you and other may feel the feedback system doesn't work is because it doesn't take effect right away. Just because a person leaves another user feedback doesn't mean that person actually did anything, in which Bungie then has to monitor that user's actions. If it in fact occurs again, and Bungie has proof that they have violated the rules, they will suspend him according to the circumstance. If you and others tell yourself that the feedback system does not work, then you choose not to use it, and because you do not use it, the system cannot work. It's that simple.
