they are all easy to kill.
What I think is retarded is that in Halo:CE there were no boss fights. But in Halo 2, there were boss fights and you even knew their names. In Halo:CE there was not a single one. It felt realistic. Are there boss fights in real life? no. So to the player, this feels like a very possible scenario, like it actually could happen 545 years from now (In Halo lore, the year is 2552). But when Halo 2 comes along it's like "what is this?"
But bungie made a stupid move and added boss fights to Halo 2, which was retarded. In real life, in real war, there are no boss fights. There is just a bludgeoning, relentless mix of bullets, and vehicles, and bombs that kill people in large numbers. Eventually, some high-ranking leaders (generals) get killed. and with that, sometimes morale is low and one side surrenders. You can't just go into Afghanistan, hunt down Osama Bin Laden and say "It ends here, Osama!" then proceed to stuff a million bullets in his ass before he passes out and you make a mad-dash before a nuke drops on your position.
There is no war-drama like there is in Halo 2 - that is why Halo:CE's ending is much better. it seems more realistic.
