I'm with the topic starter all the way. It is an egotistical thing to join a game in matchmaking knowing the risk that you might not get the same map that you are best on, or the map you like the most, or if you just quit at the beginning of the round, and then quitting because it can't be perfect for you, or quitting to lower your rank which is a wussy thing to do and makes you look like an ass to everyone else. You do not stop to think of your teammates. I have never once quit a game before. I remember there was even a time when i was in the same game for five hours because some exploiters got the bomb outside of the map (mind you this is before the 1.1 update and before any the new maps came out) but I was the last one on my team still in the game. There are always risks to matchmaking. deal with them.
I remember there was this one 8v8 big team battle game of assault I was playing on Containment a long time ago, I told everyone if we all rushed through the teleporter we could win no problem. All eight of us went through the teleporter. The first round goes by, we all went through it, and we armed the bomb, but we also saw that they had a modder at the end of that round, regardless we won the round. He got into our base, and armed the bomb. then 2 of our guys quit. They didn't realize that we could have tied with the opposing team if we had just repeated the same strategy as the first round. it was 6 v 8. and we tried the same thing again. we armed the bomb but did not plant it. we lost. I thought it was weak.
