u guys i think its the lateist nvidia drivers that make the game crash when u try to change the resalution in the game.i think this because i uninstalled the new nvidia drviers because i couldnt find my native res and then when i would try to change my res on halo2 it wouldnt crash.but now that i have the lateist drivers again it crashs again and again and i hate playing the game on 800x600.what do u guys think could be the salution??

I have the latest drivers. I changed my res yesterday and it didn't crash. I need to see your specs.

Try the 160.04 beta. I had crashes with the official, this one is problem free so far.
nVidia needs better drivers for Vista. :/

My video card is not all that different. I have the same drivers, and I have no problems. Did you check for spyware?
