Most of the PC issues posted here are the result of PEBKAC.

As far as DX9 performance goes, it's almost the same as the 7600GT I hear. But it could be faster, I say you should save a couple hundred more dollars for the 8800. You won't be disappointed.

8800 is out of the question

Sorry

It should run just fine. I got a 6600GT and I'm running it on high, no AA or AF though, but with a 8600 you should be able to do 2xAA and 4xAF. The only real bottleneck you could have is your processor.

The 8600 is going to be the "pickup truck" of video cards for the next couple years. Much like the Ti-4200 was a few years back it won't be able to give you high settings and FPS, but the game will perform and be comfortably playable.

This card is way faster then the 7600GT considering its in my computer right now...purchasing an 8800 is a waste of money, nVidia is just going to put something thats better and 2x as powerful within the next few months anyhow. Once that happens the price of the 8800 will drop dramatically...I can play H2V on high everything with the 8600GT.

If you want a flying semi race truck with added boat feature, get a 8800 ultra (they went down alot too)

Lol I think the Semi would be The ATI 2900...... I was hoping the days of 2 slots taken were over....Oh well, with that kind of cooling i guess its more room to over clock for 2900 owners
