So my buddy keeps trying to join my friend and me in a party but it says there are network problems. So he sends the both of us party invites, and my friend joins him, and it says I have network problems. I know this is not the first time this has happened to anyone, so any advice or troubleshooting?

ok the problem is that your ips conflict witch means, one your router does agree with his basically, the firewall on your or his router is set to a strong firewall probably and you kneed to open your ports

so your options are to either call 1-800-4MY-XBOX and tell them which router and such you have, and then they will inform you which ports to open, but they won't be able to tell you how to open them. So once you know which ones you need to open, send me a personal message and I would be happy to explain the process to you. Also if you have an ethernet going from your modem to your router and another from your router to your xbox, you can temporarily disable the routher and just run a cable from the modem to your xbox while you are on live and it should be fixed, but you'll have to do that every time if you choose that road.
