Any pointers on how to master it?
I.E. like what part of the reticle I should aim (at what part of the body; it is obviously the head, but like...how should I center the head in the reticle)?

Others will laugh at you for asking instead trying it yourself, but I'll be nice. You'll notice the there are small inward pointing lines inside the reticule. Imagine them meeting in the middle and that is where you will hit your target. Crosshairs ok?

Heyyo,

Nah, that's not exactly it, the main point is this for mastering the pistol: lead room. The pistol bullets aren't instant, and require a bit of lead, unless almost point blank. Online, the lead room will vary depending on how high your ping is, and how close are you to the guy. let's say, for example, you're fighting a guy who is straffing left, you must aim to where he is moving, and listen for that beep sound, THAT'S your sweetspot, remember to hit it each time, and you'll get that satisfying *DING!* sound. This works in more than just games btw, lmao. ;)

i can't belive the other 2 guys didn't say this:
Pistol Rule #1
Under No Circumstances, Use The Automatic Fire Option Of The Pistol
instead, just keep clicking. rate of fire is a little slower, but automatic fire is severly inaccurate....so much so you might miss the second or third headshot.....
