Yes, I am sure it will get an "M" just like Halo 2....

With all the current buzz about Manhunt 2 and the smackdown laid out by the ESRB, it made me actually go and look at the ESRB site for the first time.

Among the categories of issues that a game can be noted for containing (e.g., sex, controlled substances, etc), I noted that use of tobacco products is one of the categories.

Looking up Halo 2, I noted that it says "Blood and Gore, Violence, Language" for H2 on Xbox and for pc: "Blood and Gore, Partial Nudity, Language, Violence". Huh, partially nudity? Is that due to potential for modding on the PC side? If so, sad..

Anyways, I noted that NOWHERE on there is an indication of tobacco products, specifically Sgt Johnson sitting there and smokes his cigar (Oh, Noes!) <yes, I am being sarcastic, regarding the whole issue>

Given that the MPAA (movies) is looking to make movies that depict smoking rated R (there does Lord of the Rings b/c of Gandalf), it makes you wonder if the idiots would implement a similar rating penalty for games that depict smoking ("A" - adult).

Anyways, worthless speculation while waiting on AdjutantReflex v2.....

Wrong Forum?

Anyway this is why the ESRB gave Halo 2 Vista an "M" rating for the nudity part.

Also, I don't think there's much language in any of the Halo games so far...

There was a man from Allentown who fed his son to death.
He calmly watched him gorge himself until his final breath.
And there he stood, surprised and shocked above his tiny frame.
He said: "I bear no blame for this. I only share his name!"

You don't know there is tobacco in his cigar :P
