I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets this but I haven't seen any posts about it... But sometimes we'll be playing and we'll repeatedly get the message "Unable to load map" even though we've been assigned to a game... What's the deal with this? Last night it took us a dozen tries before it WOULD load a map... Annoying.

Please create topics in the correct forum. It's easy.

* Think about what you want to say.
* Look at the Forum list at the top right of the page.
* Ask yourself, "Is this about Old-School Bungie games?"
* Ask yourself, "Is this about the 7th Column?"
* Ask yourself, "Is this about Halo 2's campaign?"
* Ask yourself, "Is this about Halo 2's Multi-Player?"
* Ask yourself, "Is this about Halo 2's XBL Playlists?"
* Ask yourself, "Is this about Halo PC?"
* Ask yourself, "Is this about Halo Xbox?"
* Ask yourself, "Is this about something completely different?"
* Whatever question that you answered "YES" to, go to the appropriate forum and make your topic there!

Simple! Unless you happen to be (to quote a very wise person) a "brain-dead monkey".

In order to fix this you must take the cd out and clean the disk with a soft cloth and then blow down in the xbox drive then put the cd back in. It is a problem with the disc drive. You can get a new one the best from what i hear is the panasonic drive. Then it wont do this anymore.-- im also assuming that this is an older xbox.

Restarting your xbox works as well.
