Does anyone know how to install maps that you download off of the internet? I dowloaded Beach Battle off of halomaps.org and I placed the map file into the Documents>my games>Halo 2>Maps folder, just as the read me said. I go to start up Halo 2 and nothing new is available. Is there any other thing you have to do, such as tweaking the program files?

You could try putting it in a Program Files>Microsoft Games>Halo 2>Maps folder.

I did refer to the 'Read Me' you know, I'm not stupid. Besides, I figured it out: I was mistaking the custom maps to be in with the default maps, I didn't see the little slider option in the top right.

Don't blame me for not having the game. I was just guessing.

Once the map has been placec in the "\Documents\my games\halo 2\maps" folder per the read me file start a network network game and proceed to select the map. On the top right of that screen you have to then select custom maps instead of standard maps.
