Do you think it would be a good idea to have some kind of exposition before chief heads to earth in Halo2? Or should it just start off on earth without any previous introduction? What do u think?

I would be like to be brought up to speed before i am plunged into a fight, so a short exposition would be nice.

Im curious to see if Halo will turn some star wars like progression, where the next halo is the fall of reach. Unlikely... perhaps. It would be rather interesting to go through training. And all the missions with a squad of Spartans. Just a thought.

What? ....no.

The Fall of Reach is before Halo. They wouldn't be so boring as to make a game beforehand. No way Bungie would make a game that's before Halo, especially if it didn't have any good action.

I know Fall of Reach is before HAlo. AKA STAR WARS LIKE PROGRESSION!!!! they did 4 5 6 then 1 2 3. Its just a thought. no need to get all offended. Plus the Fall of Reach has plenty of good action, maybe you should reread the book.

I'm pretty sure the game'll begin with MC arriving on Earth. The announcement trailer (the one with MC jumping onto a Covie cruiser) is supposed to be the beginning of the game.

Im not so sure. At the end of First Strike the MC still had his old armor and five or four spartans (dont remember the number) fighting beside him. There will need to be more before the anouncement trailer.

At the end of First Strike, the Chief was on his way to Earth on The Gettysburg; a start on Earth seems to fit the bill the most, but we'll see...

IM guessing the first level can't be too intense as its gonna be the first Halo level ever for people who are new to the game (as in halo as well). I really liked the way they integrated getting you all set up and used to the controls in the game. It would be a damn shame if they did the same cleche training level to get you used to the controls as 101 other games which just annoys people who wanna get in on the action.

I'm sure John upgrades to mark VI whilst he returned to Reach in 'First Strike'
